Delaware Lottery Adds Self-Service Sports Betting Kiosks at All 89 Lottery Retailers and 3 Casinos

Sports bettors in Delaware no longer have to wait for a clerk. The Delaware Lottery announced Monday that self-service sports wagering kiosks are now live at all 89 Delaware Sports Lottery retailers across the state, along with its three casinos.
The machines are in at Delaware Park Casino, Bally's Dover, and Harrington Raceway & Casino, plus every participating Sports Lottery retailer. They are powered by Caesars Sportsbook for odds and betting options, and were installed in partnership with Scientific Games.
The pitch is convenience. The kiosks give players an alternative to clerk-assisted betting while widening the menu of wagers on offer.
"As sports betting continues to grow in popularity, these self-service kiosks meet players where they are in terms of fitting wagering into their day as well as their particular preferences for wagering," Delaware Lottery Director Helene Keeley said. "They can also support our loyal Sports Lottery Retailers by reducing staff workload and transaction times during peak periods."
What you can actually do at the kiosk
The self-service machines open up bet types that were not always easy at the counter:
- Prop bets, Same Game Parlays, and live in-game wagers
- Multisport parlays on a single ticket
- Quick Picks, for players who want the machine to choose
- A Select-Your-Own-Spread feature
There is also a QR code on the ticket that lets you check the result and see the details behind a payout or a losing selection, which is a nice touch for anyone who has ever squinted at a bet slip trying to work out what went wrong.
Bet Ahead: build it on your phone, finish at the machine
The feature most likely to get used is Bet Ahead. You build a wager online, get a six-digit code, and then walk up to a participating kiosk to review the bet, pay, and print the ticket. It is the sports-betting version of ordering ahead, and it cuts the time spent standing at a machine during a busy Sunday.
A complete list of Delaware Sports Lottery retailers is posted on the lottery's site at delottery.com.
Worth noting for lottery players
This is the sports betting side of the Delaware Lottery, separate from the scratch-offs and draw games it also runs. If you play the instant games in the state, you can still compare Delaware's current scratch-offs on our Delaware page.
