How to Play
Picking Your Teams
Each play costs $5. Mark 8 of the 32 NFL team logos on the play slip, or ask for a Quick Pick and the terminal chooses for you. You can buy up to 10 consecutive drawings in advance in most states (Maine allows 13).
Drawings are held every Sunday at 10:00 PM Eastern. Eight team logos are drawn at random. The draw has nothing to do with the NFL scoreboard: which teams win their games that week does not affect which logos come out.
Winning
Match 4 or more of your 8 teams to the 8 drawn and you win. Match all 8 for the rolling jackpot, which starts at $1,000,000 and grows each week it is not hit. Match 7 for $20,000.
Every prize is cash. There is no annuity to choose between: the jackpot is paid as a single lump sum. Lower-tier prizes can be reduced if a state's liability cap is exceeded.

Odds are fixed by the math: 32 teams choose 8 gives 10,518,300 possible draws. Matching exactly k of your 8 happens in C(8,k) × C(24, 8−k) of them.

Per dollar you are buying a much smaller, much more reachable jackpot: about 28 times better odds of hitting the top prize than Powerball, for a prize that starts at 1/20th the size and has no annuity discount hidden in it. The 7-of-8 tier at $20,000 (1 in 54,783) is the sleeper here; Powerball's comparable second prize is 1 in 11.7 million.
