Kansas launched 3 new scratch-offs, and two of them went straight to the top of the state

The Kansas Lottery put three new scratch-offs on sale today, August 24, 2026, and two of them immediately became the best-rated games in the state. 

$20,000 Frenzy ($20)

$20,000 Frenzy rates 78.1, the highest of the 49 active Kansas games we score. Its overall odds are 1 in 2.65, and the top prize is $20,000 with 22 unclaimed. Odds that good are genuinely rare: across every active game we score in the United States, only about 145 come in better than one in three.

The trade is prize size. A $20 ticket topping out at $20,000 is a thousand times your stake rather than the million-dollar headline most $20 games chase, and the frequent-win structure is where the money went instead. It is the same shape as high-hit-rate games elsewhere, where a shallow ceiling funds a busy prize table.

Fire & Ice Tripler ($10)

Fire & Ice Tripler rates 77.1 and sits second in the state, a point behind the $20 game at half the price. Its odds are 1 in 2.66, effectively identical, and it tops out at $75,000 with six of those unclaimed.

For most players this is the more interesting of the two. It gives up a single point of score, costs $10 less per ticket, and carries a top prize nearly four times larger. Anyone deciding between the pair on price rather than on the rating is not giving up much.

Rivalry Riches ($5)

Rivalry Riches rates 47.0, well behind the other two. Its overall odds are 1 in 3.35 and the top prize is $25,000 with four remaining. This is a licensed game featuring the University of Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas State University Wildcats.

Kansas also runs a licensed Kansas City Chiefs ticket at $10, rating 64.9.

Why Kansas score numbers look lower compared to other states

A Kansas game rating 78 is not the same as a game rating 78 in Georgia or Texas, and the difference is about the data that's publicly published. The Kansas Lottery publishes how many prizes remain in each game but not how many tickets were printed to begin with. Without the original counts we cannot work out a game's expected value or how much of the print run has sold.

Our scoring handles that by capping games with incomplete data at 79 out of 100, so a state we can only partly measure cannot outrank one we can measure fully. $20,000 Frenzy at 78.1 is therefore sitting within a point of the ceiling available to any Kansas game. Read it as near the top of what the state can score rather than as a middling national result.
