New Hampshire launched five scratch-offs at once, and "Six Figures" is now the top game in the state

The New Hampshire Lottery launched five scratch-offs on sale on Wednesday, September 3, priced from $1 to $10. According to the lottery's game listings, they are Six Figures, Kaboom, Patriots, Win It All, and Trick or Treat, game numbers 1706 through 1718.

One of the new games changes the top of the state table. Six Figures, the $10 game, enters at 92.8 on our ValueScore™ scale, ahead of every other game on sale in New Hampshire. Kaboom, the $5 game, enters fifth at 85.4.

Six Figures moves to first in the state

Six Figures pays back 72.2% of sales, about level with New Hampshire's $10 average of 72.3% and just under the national $10 figure of 73.1%. Its odds are the reason it has such a high score. The odds say one ticket in 3.48 wins something, better than any other $10 game in the state, and it launched with four $200,000 top prizes and five $20,000 second prizes, all of them still out.

It takes the top spot from Money Madness Extra Play, another $10 game that launched July 27 and now sits second at 89.6 with 18% of its run sold. The $30 $3,000,000 Cash Spectacular is third at 88.5. Nationally, Six Figures ranks 23rd.

Two $5 games, one big prize between them

Kaboom and Patriots both pay 68.0% of sales, both under New Hampshire's $5 average of 67.4% by a hair and under the national $5 average of 69.3% by more. What separates them is where the money goes. Kaboom launched with four $100,000 top prizes, 52 prizes of $1,000, and odds of 1 in 3.48. Patriots has no prize above $250. According to the lottery's prize table it launched with 1,994 prizes of $250, 2,858 of $100, and 90,088 of $10, on odds of 1 in 4.08.

That gives Patriots a flat prize table with many small wins and Kaboom a normal one with a real top prize. The scores reflect it. Kaboom rates 85.4 and Patriots 75.2.

The two cheap tickets are ordinary for their price. Win It All at $2 pays 65.5%, exactly the national $2 average, with a $20,000 top prize and odds of 1 in 4.39. It rates 66.5, 16th in the state, and its four $20,000 top prizes are all still out. Trick or Treat at $1 pays 62.2%, wins once in 4.77 tickets, and tops out at $500 with five of those. It rates 46.9, 36th of 87, the only one of the five below the state average.
