April 2026 Best Scratch-Off Tickets

Every month we pull fresh data from official state lottery sources to find the tickets worth your money right now. Not games that ranked well last month. Not general advice. Just what's showing up at the top of the rankings today, filtered for games that still have top prizes available.

We're looking at three things this month: best overall odds, best ValueScore, and the strongest new games launched in the last 60 days. Data is pulled from ScratchCheck's live rankings as of April 2026.

Best Overall Odds Right Now

These are the games where you have the best statistical chance of winning any prize. Active games only, top prizes confirmed available.

SET FOR LIFE · Arizona, $50 | 1 in 2.18 odds | 83.4% payout | 3 top prizes left
Still the best overall odds of any purchasable game in the country. 1 in 2.18 on a $50 ticket means you're winning something on nearly every other play. Three top prizes still remain. If you're in Arizona or can get there, this is the game right now.

Ruby Red Crossword · Iowa, $30 | 1 in 2.29 odds | 75.3% payout | 4 top prizes left
Iowa keeps delivering. Four top prizes still available on the second-best odds game in the country. 1 in 2.29 on a $30 ticket is exceptional nationally.

Super-Sized Bucks Power 25x · Georgia, $25 | 1 in 2.34 odds | 71.1% payout | 2 top prizes left
Two top prizes remaining so check availability before buying. But 1 in 2.34 on a $25 ticket is one of the strongest combinations of price and odds available anywhere right now.

$5 Million Jackpot · Oklahoma, $100 | 1 in 2.37 odds | 81% payout | 2 top prizes left
Two top $5 million prizes remaining. At $100 it's a commitment, but the combination of 1 in 2.37 odds and 81% payout rate is about as good as it gets on paper anywhere in the US.

Royal Jackpot · California, $40 | 1 in 2.43 odds | 80.8% payout | 4 top prizes left
Still one of the best games in the country with four top $15 million prizes remaining. 1 in 2.43 on a $40 ticket with 80.8% payout. Strong all around.

ValueScore factors in expected value, prize quality across all tiers, win frequency, and remaining inventory into a single 0-100 rating. These are the games where the full picture looks best.

Jackpot Millions · New Jersey, $30 | ValueScore: 99.7 | odds: 1 in 3.40 | 3 top prizes left
The highest ValueScore of any game in the country right now. Three top $3 million prizes remaining. New Jersey has been quietly running some of the best-value games in the country and Jackpot Millions is the best of them right now.

It's A Louisiana Thing! · Louisiana, $10 | ValueScore: 99.2 | odds: 1 in 3.26 | 5 top prizes left
A brand new game launched March 30, 2026 and already sitting at a 99.2 ValueScore with five top prizes still fully available. 1 in 3.26 overall odds on a $10 ticket is exceptional for the price point. One of the strongest new launches in the country this month.

One to Avoid This Month

Iowa's Payline ($20, 1 in 2.40 odds) looks excellent on paper but is down to a single top prize remaining. The overall odds are still real for small wins but the jackpot is essentially gone. With 200X THE WIN available at a similar price with ten top prizes remaining, there's no reason to play Payline right now.
