Georgia launched 2 new scratch-offs on August 18, and one features the Georgia Bulldogs

The Georgia Lottery launched two new scratch-offs on sale today, August 18, 2026, and they make a neat illustration of what our ValueScore™ ratings actually measure.

$600 Cash In Hand ($10)

$600 Cash In Hand rates 86.0, which puts it sixth among the 193 active Georgia games we score. It returns 77.3% of sales as prizes, its overall odds are 1 in 3.26, and the top prize is $600 with 17,260 of them unclaimed.

That large amount of top prizes are mainly the reason for the high score. A $600 ceiling on a $10 game doesn't sound all that great next to the million-dollar prize tickets on the same rack, but this game has a high payout percentage at 77.3%. Money that would otherwise be tied up in a handful of enormous prizes is spread across a very large number of small ones, so more of the money comes back to more players.

Bulldog Bucks ($5)

Bulldog Bucks rates 67.0 with a 72.8% payout percentage and odds of 1 in 3.49. The top prize is $300,000 and three are unclaimed. Georgia has 52 active $5 games, and among the ones we score this sits just behind 25Xtra at 69.0.

It is game with the branding of the University of Georgia Bulldogs, so a chunk of its sales will come from people who are fans of the Georgia Bulldogs rather than the odds. There is nothing about the game that really stands out. It returns 72.8 cents on the dollar, which is respectable for $5, and it beats most of the Georgia rack at that price.

Georgia keeps an unusually deep rack of games, with 193 active games we score, so a new launch has to be good to crack the top ten. Only five active Georgia tickets rate above 86.0, led by 100Xtra at 90.9 with a 78.4% payout. For $600 Cash on Hand to land sixth on day one is a good result for the $10 game.
