Maryland launched four scratch-offs at once, and the $30 one debuts at the top of the state

The Maryland Lottery launched four scratch-offs on sale on September 18, one at $30, one at $10, and two at $5. The $30 game arrives as the best-rated ticket in the state, and none of the four new games carry a top prize above $50,000.
| Game | Price | Top prize | Top prizes printed | Odds | Payout | ValueScore™ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 30X Cash | $30 | $30,000 | 320 | 1 in 2.83 | 78.9% | 94.9 |
| 10X Cash | $10 | $10,000 | 134 | 1 in 3.48 | 75.1% | 74.9 |
| Deluxe Crossword | $5 | $50,000 | 8 | 1 in 3.45 | 71.5% | 72.7 |
| Hello Money! | $5 | $50,000 | 7 | 1 in 3.95 | 72.0% | 65.7 |
30X Cash
This one debuts at 94.9, ahead of every other active Maryland game. The state's next-best is $5,000 Large at 91.7, and the average across all 92 active games is 48.9.

The score comes from a 78.9% payout, 1 in 2.83 odds, and a full prize inventory on day one. The prize table has no million-dollar line. Instead there are 320 prizes of $30,000 and 40 of $5,000 in a print run of about 2.16 million tickets. That makes a $30,000 hit a 1 in 6,747 shot, which is short enough that the game does not need a jackpot line to rate well.
All 762,916 winning tickets printed pay at least $30. About 35% of the run is a winner at or above the price.
10X Cash
The $10 companion game rates 74.9 on a 75.1% payout, right at the Maryland average for $10 tickets. It has 134 top prizes of $10,000 across roughly 3.16 million tickets, or 1 in 23,610.

Its prize table is thin in the middle. There are 134 prizes at $10,000 and 43 at $1,000, then nothing until $500. Most of the money sits at $50 and below, where 876,779 of its 909,126 winners land.
Deluxe Crossword
The better of the two $5 games at 72.7, with a 71.5% payout and eight top prizes of $50,000 in about 3.88 million tickets. That is 1 in 485,575 for the top prize.

Crossword games spread prizes across more levels than most, and this one has 13 of them, including odd sizes at $90, $75, and $15. The spread is why it edges out its stablemate, Hello Money!, despite a slightly lower payout, 71.5% against 72.0%.
Hello Money!
The weakest of the four at 65.7, on 72.0% payout and the longest odds of the group at 1 in 3.95. It has seven $50,000 top prizes in about 4.13 million tickets, or 1 in 590,026.

Its prize table is the most bottom-heavy of the four. Of its 1,045,616 winning tickets, 824,740 pay exactly $10. That is 79% of all winners returning $5 in profit on a $5 ticket, and it is the main reason the game scores nearly 30 points behind 30X Cash.
