A $1 million 100X scratch-off sold at a Wawa in Brick, New Jersey

A $1 million prize on the New Jersey Lottery's $20 100X scratch-off was sold at Wawa #8372, 1902 Route 88, in Brick, the lottery said Monday in its weekly list of big winners. The prize is listed under September 22. The lottery did not name the winner.

The game started on January 29 with three $1 million top prizes in a print run of 7,374,260 tickets. After the Brick ticket, only one $1 million jackpot is left, according to the lottery's game page, which lists both claimed top prizes as coming from Wawa stores, this one and Wawa #963 on Bayshore Road in Villas. About 45% of the tickets are still unsold, going by the smaller prizes that remain, so a ticket bought today has roughly a 1 in 3.3 million shot at the last $1 million. Eleven of the 24 prizes of $10,000 are also still out there.
As a $20 game per ticket, the game returns 76.5% of sales as prizes, and it rates 75.0 on our ValueScore™, fourth among New Jersey's nine active $20 games.
The 100X winner was one of 14 players who won $10,000 or more between September 21 and 27 in New Jersey. The two next-biggest prizes both happened on September 21.
