The Ohio Lottery launched four scratch-offs on sale on September 1, priced at $2, $5, $10, and $20 respectively. According to the lottery's game listings they are numbers #1099 through #1102, and the $20 game enters our rankings as the second-best active game in the state.

Ultimate Triple 777 rates 92.1, behind only Millionaire Blowout at 95.9 among Ohio's 69 active games. It carries three top prizes of $1 million and overall odds of 1 in 3.36.

The four new games rank in the range of 2nd to 32nd in the state

Only the $2 beats its national average

A top-two entry suggests a generous set of tickets but the payout figures say otherwise for three of the four.

The $5 Lucky Streak is the weakest of the group, giving back 2.3 percentage points less than a typical $5 ticket. It is also the one that trails its own state, since Ohio's 13 active $5 games average 70.2%.

Ohio itself pays close to the national rate at all four price points, so these games are being measured against a normal shelf rather than a stingy one. Across all 69 active Ohio games the average payout is 71.0% and the average score is 49.8.

Top-prize counts thin out quickly as the price rises. $100 In A Flash launched with ten top prizes of $10,000, Lucky Streak with six at $100,000, Casino Cash with four at $500,000, and Ultimate Triple 777 with three at $1 million.

Where the rest of Ohio stands

The strongest active game in the state is the $50 Millionaire Blowout at 95.9, followed by Ultimate Triple 777 and the $20 Spectacular Riches at 85.6. Ohio's 69 active games average 49.8 on our scale.

Two of these launches also fill gaps at the cheap end, where Ohio has been pretty thin for the cheaper games. Current Ohio ValueScore™ rankings update daily.
