A Tampa woman has won a $5 million top prize on the Florida Lottery's $20 200X The Cash scratch-off, the lottery announced Monday. Mercedes Nunez, 34, claimed the prize at lottery headquarters in Tallahassee on June 29, more than three months before the announcement went out. She bought the ticket at the Murphy USA at 1405 W. 15th Street in Panama City, in the Panhandle.

200X The Cash went on sale in January 2026 with eight $5 million top prizes, one per 5,276,993 tickets, in a run of about 42.2 million. The Florida Lottery's game page lists four of the eight still unclaimed, along with 11 of 20 prizes of $100,000. About 44% of the tickets have sold, so a ticket bought now has about a 1 in 5.9 million shot at a top prize, a little worse than at launch. The overall odds of winning anything are 1 in 2.96, and the most common prize, $20, just returns the ticket price.

Counting its top prizes at the advertised $5 million, the game returns about 78.5% of sales as prizes. It rates 78.8 on our ValueScore™, third among Florida's 11 active $20 games. The lottery says scratch-offs made up about 74% of its ticket sales in the 2025-26 fiscal year and have created 2,544 millionaires since they began. Other recent Florida winners include a Lady Lake man who won $1 million on a $5 ticket, and the state's games are ranked in which Florida scratch-offs win the most.
