Which Minnesota scratch-offs are worth buying?

Minnesota sells 40 scratch-offs from $1 to $50, with no $30 tier. The ones that deserve a closer look pay back a bigger share of sales and still have their big prizes in play. Ratings and counts are as of September 30, 2026.
| Game | Price | ValueScore™ | Payout | Top prize | Top prizes left |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Money | $50 | 86.7 | 74.0% | $100,000 | 31 of 50 |
| Fortune | $20 | 81.4 | 72.0% | $500,000 | 2 of 3 |
| Cash Bar Multiplier | $10 | 79.1 | 70.0% | $1,000 | 1,072 of 1,551 |
| Money Bag Multiplier | $10 | 77.4 | 70.0% | $200,000 | 3 of 4 |
| $10,000 Large | $20 | 75.5 | 72.0% | $10,000 | 97 of 200 |
The leaders do not chase one giant jackpot. Money spreads its top tier across 50 prizes of $100,000, and Cash Bar Multiplier caps out at $1,000 but prints 1,551 of those. With so many top prizes, one claim barely dents the game.
Highest payout is not the same as best buy
Casino Millions, at $50, returns 76.5% of sales as prizes, more than any other Minnesota game. But five of its six $1 million prizes are gone and about 71% of its tickets have sold, so it rates 70.8, well behind Money. At $20, Win $100, $200, or $500 works differently from most tickets. Its smallest prize is $100, so its overall odds are just 1 in 9.48, but every win it does hand out pays at least five times the ticket price.
| Price | Games | Average payout |

| $1 | 2 | 63.1% |
| $2 | 5 | 65.1% |
| $3 | 8 | 65.9% |

| $10 | 8 | 70.0% |
| $20 | 5 | 72.0% |
| $50 | 2 | 75.3% |
Minnesota runs a little stingier than most states at the middle prices. Its $10 games average 70.0% and its $20 games 72.0%, where the national medians are about 72.9% and 74.9%. On the plus side, all 38 Minnesota games we can track still have at least one top prize left. The newest releases were covered in Minnesota's August launches, and the Minnesota ValueScore™ list ranks the rest.
