$4 million Pennsylvania scratch-off winner sold at Live! Casino Pittsburgh

A $4 million-winning Ca$h Money scratch-off was sold at Live! Casino Pittsburgh, 5260 Route 30 in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, the Pennsylvania Lottery said Wednesday. The casino will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket. The lottery did not name the winner, and it learns where a winning ticket was sold only after the prize is claimed.

Ca$h Money is a $50 ticket that went on sale in August with five top prizes of $4 million in a print run of 5.4 million, 1 in 1,080,000 per ticket. The lottery's prizes-remaining page still showed all five on October 21, so this win, the first top prize claimed in the game, had not yet been counted. That would leave four. About 13% of the tickets have sold, which puts a ticket bought now at roughly 1 in 1.17 million for one of the four. The game also has 13 of 15 prizes of $100,000 and 23 of 25 prizes of $30,000 left.
Like most of Pennsylvania's $50 games, Ca$h Money returns 80.1% of sales as prizes, with overall odds of 1 in 3.63. It rates 78.9 on our ValueScore™, second of the state's four active $50 tickets behind Million Dollar Win It All. Pennsylvania's best-paying scratch-offs and its games with the most top prizes left are covered separately.
Scratch-off prizes in Pennsylvania expire one year after a game's end-of-sales date, and the lottery tells winners to sign the back of the ticket right away and call 1-800-692-7481. Prizes over $5,000 are subject to tax withholding.
