The Michigan Lottery launched five holiday scratch-offs on sale Tuesday, October 27, priced from $1 to $20. The unusual one is the $20 HOLIDAY BLOWOUT!, which has just three prize amounts, $100, $200, and $500. Any winner gets at least five times the ticket price back, and only about one ticket in 8.48 wins anything. Figures are as of October 27, 2026.

About 2.45 million tickets hold 224,332 prizes of $100, 56,105 of $200, and 8,108 of $500, so 1 in 302 tickets is a $500 winner. The average winning ticket pays about $131. The trade-off is how often it hits. Michigan's other 17 $20 games average overall odds of about 1 in 4.13, and of 388 $20 games on sale nationwide, only 19 have longer odds. Its 77.1% payout is last among Michigan's 18 $20 games, though still above the 74.6% national average, and it rates 13th of 18 on our ValueScore™. Michigan's best-rated $20 game is $2 Million Royale.
