Texas added three new scratch-offs, led by a $10 Mega Loteria with 14 top prizes

The Texas Lottery released three new scratch-offs on sale on Monday, a $10 Limited Edition Mega Loteria, the $5 Sugar Skull Cash, and the $2 Electric 10s.

Three $10 Mega Loteria tickets, and only one has its top prizes

Loteria, the Mexican picture-card game, has become a franchise for Texas. This is the 11th Loteria-branded scratch-off on sale in the state, spread from a $3 ticket to the $100 Loteria Supreme with its $7.5 million top prize.
The new one has close company at $10. A Limited Edition Mega Loteria from June 2025 is still for sale, and so is a plain Mega Loteria from August 2025. All three offer a $250,000 top prize, list overall odds of 1 in 3.54, and return about 70% of sales. What separates them is inventory.
| Game | Game no. | On sale since | $250,000 prizes left |
|---|---|---|---|
| Limited Edition Mega Loteria | 2721 | September 2026 | 14 of 14 |
| Limited Edition Mega Loteria | 2676 | June 2025 | 2 of 10 |
| Mega Loteria | 2669 | August 2025 | 1 of 10 |
A player grabbing a $10 Loteria off the rack gets identical odds on paper whichever one they pick, but only the new game still has all of its top prizes intact. The two older versions have been picked nearly clean. Check the game number before buying, since two of them share a name.
The new game is also enormous. Fourteen top prizes at 1 in 2,142,857 each put its print run near 30 million tickets, or about $300 million in sales. It rates 76.2 on our ValueScore™, first among the state's 12 active $10 games.
Sugar Skull Cash

For the new $5 game, four $100,000 prizes sit in a run of roughly 5 million tickets, a 1 in 1.26 million chance each. At 68.0%, the payout edges past the 67.1% Texas averages at $5, and the game places third of 19 at that price with a score of 59.2. About 42% of its winners, 547,274 of about 1.29 million, simply get their $5 back.
Electric 10s

The cheapest of the three, this game pays 65.0%, exactly the Texas norm for a $2 ticket. Six $30,000 prizes are spread across about 9.1 million tickets, 1 in 1.52 million apiece. It still leads the state's eight $2 games on score, at 48.1, because nothing has been claimed yet, and it sits 42nd of 75 overall.
Texas payouts climb steeply with price, from 60.1% on $1 games and 65.0% on $2 games to 80.1% on its $100 tickets. The four-game Lucky 7 family that launched August 31 runs from $5 to $50.
