Which New York scratch-offs have the most prize money left?

The New York Lottery has 104 scratch-offs on sale, and together they held about $3.66 billion in unclaimed prizes as of the first week of October 2026. Most of that money sits in a handful of big $20 and $30 games.
| Game | Price | Prize money left | Top prize | Top prizes left | Sold |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 300X THE MONEY | $30 | $295.4 million | $10,000,000 | 3 of 4 | 28% |
| $5,000,000 SPECTACULAR | $20 | $258.0 million | $5,000,000 | 4 of 4 | 5% |
| MILLIONAIRE RICHES | $20 | $236.4 million | $5,000,000 | 4 of 4 | 13% |
| $10,000 A WEEK FOR LIFE | $20 | $225.1 million | $10,000 a week for life | 2 of 3 | 38% |
| $2,000,000 100X CASHWORD | $20 | $194.2 million | $2,000,000 | 3 of 4 | 20% |
| ULTIMATE CASH | $30 | $182.7 million | $10,000,000 | 1 of 3 | 56% |
A big pile of prize money mostly means a big, young game. New York prints around 18 million tickets for most of these, so the $258 million left in the barely touched $5,000,000 SPECTACULAR works out to about $14.70 in prizes for each $20 ticket still unsold. The more telling column is top prizes left. 300X THE MONEY still has three of its four $10 million prizes and rates 92.0 on our ValueScore™, the best in the state. ULTIMATE CASH, with one $10 million prize left and more than half its tickets sold, rates 76.4.
21 games with no top prize left
At the other end, 21 of New York's 104 games are still on sale with every top prize claimed. Among them are $2,000,000 CASHWORD at $20, $3,000,000 CA$H and $3,000,000 MAX at $10, and three $5 games whose $1 million prizes are all gone, MORE MONEY, BONUS 20X, and XTREME WINNINGS. Players buying those tickets can still win smaller prizes, but not the one on the front of the ticket.
New York also pays back less than most states at the low end. Its $5 games average 65.4% of sales as prizes, against 69.2% for $5 games nationally, and its $30 games average 74.9%. The full list of New York top prizes remaining updates daily, and a New York company's $10 million ULTIMATE CASH claim explains where one of that game's top prizes went.
How we did this. Prize money left adds each prize level's value times its remaining count, using New York Lottery game data in our database on September 30, 2026. Remaining prizes include prizes on tickets not yet sold and on tickets sold but not yet claimed. Percent sold, payout, and ValueScore™ are from the same data. The national $5 average covers all active US $5 games in our data.
